The Roosevelt
Brand repositioning & digital marketing
The team at The Roosevelt engaged us to increase functions bookings to the two private rooms at the back of the 1950s New York-style bar in Sydney’s Potts Point, which had been open for a dozen years. We identified that the digital channels weren’t performing at peak and communications on the venue’s offerings across website and socials wasn’t clear.
As part of the project, we conducted a discovery workshop, created new positioning copy and creative direction, developed key messages, and delivered a new suite of images which showcased the USPs of the venue. A new look and feel was rolled out to social media channels, including new weekly promotion tiles and story designs, which were also carried across to A3 posters in venue.
We also updated and optimised the bar and restaurant’s existing website, adding a What’s On page, improving navigation, adding new images, and employing several SEO techniques to capture more traffic. To drive awareness and traffic to the functions page, we developed and ran a range of paid ad campaigns.
Results included driving up website traffic by 35%, leading to increased views of the functions page and an uptick in enquiries, while content reach on Instagram went up 179% and up 600% on Facebook, with an increase in web clicks from Facebook of 246%.
