Seven Storeys was engaged to deliver and manage the proactive public relations to launch new Bistrot Bisou restaurant by chef Luke Mangan at Hotel Indigo Melbourne on Flinders. Working within a very tight six-week project span, we developed a high-performance strategy to achieve cut-through in the saturated Melbourne dining landscape, driving share of voice, brand awareness and setting a platform for future success.
A phased approach was implemented, with two media outreach campaigns (teaser and opening announcement) and two launch events, gaining coverage in all top-tier target publications and garnering advocacy from local foodie and lifestyle influencers, creating a buzz leading into the official opening. As a result, the restaurant was heavily booked at the outset and for the following six months. In the first month along, we generated $1.8 million worth of editorial, reaching more than 3.7 million Australians.
