Cairns Harbourside Hotel
Full-service marketing, brand relaunch/pre-opening
Working with the hotel owner and Jones Lang LaSalle, we were brought in to support the brand changeover journey of this Queensland hotel from a Holiday Inn to an independent, stand-alone brand and operation. In the early phase of the project with Cairns Harbourside Hotel, we provided marketing advisory and consultancy on branding and website design and build. We then developed a marketing strategy, created communications and brand assets including hotel collateral (hotel compendium, function pack, in-house posters, email signatures), and worked alongside Hook Communications to develop a public relations strategy. We collaborated with Sepo & Co to edit and colourgrade a large suite of images to fit the new brand.
We also set up, gained access to and/or created channels for email marketing, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business and Google Analytics. To improve UX and SEO performance of the website, we created new content and pages, including an offers page, blog with carefully-crafted destination articles, and weddings page.
After the hotel rebranded, we continued working with the hotel owner and team to deliver full-service marketing to support day-to-day operations, build brand awareness and attract bookings. We managed social media content creation/curation and channel engagement, paid and organic social media, partnerships, influencer engagement, graphic design and marketing campaign delivery.
